David Rose (June 15, 1910 – August 23, 1990) was a London-born musician and composer who wrote the music for Little House on the Prairie , Highway to Heaven , Father Murphy , and Bonanza In addition, Rose was musical director for The Red Skelton Show throughout its 21-12 months run on the CBS and NBC networks.
The first Little member of the family to personal Dole-Little House was Francis Little in 1878. Though he’s a descendant of first settler George Little, and so are the Littles of Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, they are not straight related as far as we know. This was our 2nd go to to Little House.
